Dispute Resolution

Workplace Mediation

Unresolved workplace conflict costs a lot more than money.  At best, mismanaged conflict or unresolved conflict results in an unwelcome distraction from a heavy workload.  At worst, it results in escalating costs and damage that may threaten the health of the employee or the future of the organisation.

Mediation is about finding a constructive approach to conflict resolution and is ideal for addressing a range of workplace conflicts such as:

  • Disagreements, conflicts, personality clashes, communication difficulties or workplace relationship breakdowns.
  • Disharmony occurring from changes in the workplace or the management of change.
  • Allegations of harassment, bullying, discrimination and other inappropriate behaviours.
  • Re-integration of employees to the workplace from stress leave or other long-term sickness absence.
  • Employment disputes, for example disputes relating to terms and conditions of employment, flexible working, performance at work, workplace attendance.
  • Collective disputes relating to, as an example, remuneration or role grading.

Capella Consulting offers a workplace mediation service that provides the individuals involved with an opportunity to reach a positive and sustainable resolution to seemingly intractable problems.

Our objective is to help all parties to restore effective, productive and harmonious working relations within the team.  To meet this objective, our experienced workplace mediators work with all parties in a dispute to explore the underlying issues, encourage dialogue and ultimately facilitate a mutually acceptable resolution.

Neutral Evaluation

Capella Consulting provides a Neutral Evaluation service which is ideal for use where no specific workplace allegations have been made, or workplace dispute exists, but the organisation wishes to have an impartial fact-find carried out.  In carrying out the neutral evaluation, we will undertake a thorough, yet speedy, evaluation of the current situation and provide a detailed report to management that provides a series of options for the most appropriate intervention or course of action.
