About Carol
Carol Jarrett is the founder and managing director of Capella Consulting Ltd. Carol is a deeply experienced ADR and HR professional, who worked for the greater part of her career in HR leadership roles, up to Board level, in the financial services sector.
She held a number of senior specialist IR and HR roles in the Bank of Ireland Group. Of particular note was her role as Head of Human Resources for the Bank of Ireland's Insurance & Investments division, which comprised of Ireland's remaining Bancassurer; Ireland's second largest life assurance company (New Ireland Assurance Company plc) and Ireland's largest and oldest private bank, Bank of Ireland Private Banking Ltd. Previously, Carol was Senior Manager with the Bank of Ireland's Group Industrial Relations unit for a number of years.
Carol has proven, hands on expertise in advising on and managing complex employment and change management issues, in unionised and non-unionised environments. In addition, she has significant hands on expertise in mergers, disposals, integrations, restructuring and general business projects across business growth and down-sizing cycles.
Carol is an accredited mediator with the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution, (CEDR). In addition, she is an accredited Chartered Banker with the Institute of Banking in Ireland. Carol also holds an MBA from the University of Manchester, a post graduate diploma in Advanced Business and Executive Coaching from UCD and a diploma in Employment Law from the Law Society of Ireland.
